On July 26th, 2000 the wrestling world lost another legend as Gordon Solie last a fight with cancer at the age of 71. His nasally voice became synonymous with Florida, Alabama, and Georgia wrestling during his 45-year career. He is best remembered as host of the original World Championship Wrestling broadcast in the 1980s.
